Tractors 101

Tractors 101

The tractor is one of the most critical pieces of machinery a farmer owns. For new farmers understanding how to operate a tractor is a important component of owning a farm.

On the morning of the workshop we will teach tractor and equipment safety in a classroom setting. Interactive models and videos will be used for demonstration purposes. Participants will then move outside for a handsā€on portion to learn to drive a tractor. Professionals will ride with trainees during the activity. After the driving clinic, basic equipment maintenance items will be covered.

  • Registration is free / Open to the public
