 Calendar

One of Farm Again's Service Coordinators will set up a time to visit you at your farm or ranch.
Meting

The Service Coordinator will conduct a site visit where you work. You will show them tasks you are having difficulty doing. They will also observe you as you go about your normal work routine.
Plan

An individualized plan will be developed for you. The plan may include assistive technology that may make tasks easier, a business plan to help grow your business, community or student volunteer projects and a wide variety of other resources.

Direction
The Service Coordinator will either call you or set up another visit to discuss possible solutions. Together, you will decide the best avenue to take. You will also discuss a timeline to implement the plan.

The Service Coordinator will be in touch with you a frequent basis as your plan is implemented.

What is assistive technology?

Assistive or Adaptive Technology commonly refers to "...products, devices or equipment, whether acquired commercially, modified or customized, that are used to maintain, increase or improve the functional capabilities of individuals with disabilities...", according to the definition proposed in the Assistive Technology Act of 1998.

Assistive Technology products
can enable people with disabilities to accomplish daily living tasks, assist them in communication, education, work or recreation activities, in essence, help them achieve greater independence and enhance their quality of life. Assistive Technology devices can help improve physical or mental functioning, overcome a disorder or impairment, help prevent the worsening of a condition, strengthen a physical or mental weakness, help improve a person's capacity to learn, or even replace a missing limb.
